Where your soul
finds its
way home.

Attachment-based psychotherapy for Orthodox women — rooted in the belief that within you lives a self that is unbreakable, confident, and holy. I am here to help you find your way back to her.

A Note From Mindy

“I believe in the divinity of the soul — unbreakable, confident, and holy. Together we align with that core self.”

About Mindy

A therapist, a writer,
a fellow traveler.

I am an attachment-based psychotherapist, writer, and adjunct professor at Sara Schenirer. My work is rooted in the conviction that healing happens not by fixing what is broken, but by returning to what was always whole.

I see myself as a fellow traveler on your journey towards light and inner harmony — I continue to engage in my own work, which means I meet you with genuine humility, not clinical distance. I look at the whole person, not just the presenting symptoms.

“I am inspired by the divinity of the soul which is unbreakable, confident, and holy — and I believe in your ability to align with your core self through the work.”

Where healing
takes many forms.

Every woman’s journey is distinct. I offer a range of therapeutic approaches that meet you where you are — all grounded in compassion, attachment science, and the sacred worth of your inner world.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions designed to create a safe, attuned space for your unfolding. We work with the whole person — mind, body, relationships, and soul — using an integrative, attachment-based framework.

Trauma & Healing

Deep, careful work with trauma using IFS and relational attunement. We move at a pace that honors your nervous system and your story — gently, and without force.

Postpartum Support

Compassionate, culturally sensitive support for the complex emotional terrain of new motherhood. You do not have to navigate postpartum anxiety, depression, or adjustment alone.

Relational Healing

Examining how your attachment history shapes your present relationships — with your partner, children, parents, and yourself. Building connection that is secure, honest, and alive.

Life Transitions

Support through the thresholds of womanhood — marriage, motherhood, loss, identity shifts, becoming, and becoming again. When one chapter ends and the next is not yet clear.

Sand Tray Therapy

A powerful, non-verbal modality that allows the inner world to express itself through symbol and image. Sand tray accesses what words sometimes cannot — for profound, layered insight.

My Approach

Looking at the whole person,
not the symptoms.

My approach is compassionate and holistic. I look at the whole person rather than reducing you to a diagnosis or a set of presenting problems. Your symptoms are a language — and I am here to listen to what they are trying to say.

I work from an attachment-based lens, which means I take seriously how your early relational experiences shaped your inner world, your nervous system, and the patterns you carry today. The goal is not just symptom relief — it is transformation at the root.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

A primary treatment pillar. We explore the parts of you — protectors, exiles, and the core Self — helping you lead from within with clarity and compassion.

Relational & Attachment Work

Understanding how your attachment patterns live in your body and relationships today — creating space to build secure connection to yourself and others.

Sand Tray Therapy

Expressive, symbolic work that gives your inner world a language beyond words. Deeply powerful for trauma and parts work.

EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)

Transforming relational patterns by working directly with emotion — deepening connection and healing cycles of disconnection.

Exposure & CBT

Evidence-based tools for anxiety, OCD, and phobia — integrated thoughtfully within the broader relational and IFS framework.

Focus Areas

You do not have to
carry this alone.

I work with a wide range of experiences. Wherever you are, the work begins with meeting you there — with full compassion, no judgment, and genuine presence.

Trauma & PTSD

Processing past wounds through gentle, trauma-informed approaches that honor your pace.

Anxiety & Panic

Understanding and calming the anxious nervous system — from generalized anxiety to panic attacks.

Depression

Exploring the roots of low mood and disconnection, and rebuilding a life that feels alive.

OCD

Evidence-based support for obsessive-compulsive patterns, integrated with compassionate parts work.

Postpartum

Navigating postpartum anxiety, depression, and the identity shifts of new motherhood.

Parenting Struggles

When parenting triggers old wounds — working through your own story to show up more fully.

Life Transitions

Support through the threshold moments — marriage, loss, identity, becoming, and becoming again.

Relational Issues

Healing relational patterns that keep you cycling through disconnection and hurt.

Lack of Meaning

When life feels hollow — exploring what gives your days depth, purpose, and sacred direction.

Low Self-Esteem

Building genuine, embodied self-worth — not performance, but real inner dignity.

Grief & Loss

Holding space for grief in all its forms — the losses we speak of and the ones we carry quietly.

Self-Connection

When you have lost the thread to yourself — returning to your core, your needs, and your own knowing.

My Philosophy

The soul is not the problem.
It is the solution.

I am inspired by the divinity of the soul — the innermost spark that is unbreakable, confident, and holy. Psychological pain is not evidence of failure. It is often the distance between who you are and who you were meant to be.

My work is to help you close that distance — through honest, attentive, attachment-informed therapy that takes your inner life seriously. I see myself as a fellow traveler. I am doing my own work. I will not pretend to have arrived somewhere you have not.

“You contain within you a self that is whole, knowing, and completely capable of leading your own healing — I am here to help you find it.”
